1969 - Toronto, Canada
After over 10 years of working labour in canada, Giuseppe sees a commercial space open up on yonge & gerrard. He takes his chance, & opens the infamous big slice. in 1981.Giuseppe starts selling individual pizza slices, helping pioneer the trend of buying pizza by the slice.
1982 - Yonge St. Toronto
Giuseppe's now running the top pizza joint in town. lured by the flashy cars, bright lights and loud music of downtown yonge st., his two boys - sebastian and dom - spend most of their child & teen years at the big slice, helping their father and learning his craft.


1991 - corso italia
The big slice moves to toronto's corso italia. years later in 1998, giuseppe embarks on a trip to open 3 locations in mexico, leaving the spot to his sons. WIth help from their new partner, cousin michele, they continue filling bellies 'til this day.
Present Day
brothers sebastian & dominic and their cousin michele are still running the big slice, with most of the family helping out as well, Including wives, more cousins and the next young chef in the family...
